Alibaba Group Partners with SEKO Logistics in Hong Kong and Taiwan for Cross-Border Ecommerce

Alibaba Group, the largest retail commerce company in the world in terms of gross merchandise volume, has selected SEKO Logistics as a 3PL service provider in Hong Kong and Taiwan to especially support small and medium-sized companies requiring localized and cost efficient export processes and integrated services.    

SEKO is one of only four international logistics companies chosen to be an Alibaba ‘OneTouch’ launch partner in Hong Kong and Taiwan. OneTouch supports traders with one-stop, end-to-end export services and comprises customs clearing, tax refunds, financial transactions, foreign exchanges and international B2B logistics. SEKO will offer services to any Alibaba customer or company registered in Hong Kong or Taiwan shipping products to China or to any of the world’s major eCommerce markets.

This new collaboration with Alibaba comes just weeks after SEKO Logistics announced its investment in a further 100,000 square feet of warehousing and fulfillment capacity in Hong Kong as it continues to build an ‘ecommerce gateway’ for retail and high-tech customers targeting China’s near $1 trillion online consumer market. SEKO’s latest investment in Hong Kong is the opening of a new 50,000 square foot warehouse on the border of Shenzhen in southeastern China. It links Hong Kong to mainland China and is located just 30 minutes from the Port of Hong Kong and 45 minutes from Hong Kong International Airport. This is in addition to SEKO’s recently-opened 50,000 square foot, high security ecommerce warehouse in the city which provides order fulfillment services as well as same-day and next-day deliveries to customers in Hong Kong.
