SEKO Logistics United Kingdom and Ireland has undergone a transformative journey to embed sustainable solutions into our every day operations, improving our processes and procedures to incorporate sustainability initiatives.

Throughout this journey, which includes ISO accreditation and the award of ECOVADIS Gold status, we have carried out significant reviews with our suppliers and enhanced our client's operations as well as our own. We are committed to continuous improvement across all partnerships.

Through our sustainability steering committee and as a member of the United Nations Global Compact in the United Kingdom, our work will continue in this important domain.

To kickstart the year, all UK and Ireland sites achieved ISO9001 accreditation.

SEKO UK and Ireland joins the UN Global Compact supporting the mission of the UNGC to mobilise a global movement of sustainable companies and stakeholders to create the world we want.

In June 2025, SEKO was awarded Ecovadis Gold Status. Achieving Gold Status places SEKO UK in the op 5% of companies globally and top 1% of logistics businesses.

By voluntarily adopting the Living Wage, SEKO UK&I joins a growing movement of responsible employers who believe that a hard day's work deserves a fair day's pay.

Electric car scheme rolled out to all eligible employees.

NET ZERO: The Focus For SEKO Logistics UK and Ireland

The journey towards Net Zero is a collaborative effort between all partners and clients throughout all supply chain activities. 

Net Zero considers all greenhouse gases and by establishing our baseline, SEKO has set the framework for continuous improvement.

Our sustainability goals are focussed on reducing emissions with tangible targets reducing all emissions by 50% in 2030 and 90% in 2050.

Collaborative efforts with suppliers, partners and clients support our goals and we are able to provide the sustainability expertise throughout the journey together.
