How does SEKO's end-to-end supply chain solution set itself apart in streamlining the entire supply chain process for businesses?

SEKO's end-to-end supply chain solution is our USP. There are no other organisations out there that can provide the same complete offering under one roof. Other competitors can provide aspects of the supply chain, whether it's sea or air freight, or warehousing, but the components of that business don't talk to each other at all. SEKO's solution puts it under one control tower, one team, and brings obvious efficiencies for supply chain management.

 

What are the cost-saving strategies that SEKO’s supply chain solutions offer to businesses?

The real benefit lies in allowing experts to do what they're good at. SEKO is very good at doing supply chain. Our customers are good in their sectors, whether it's hospitality, or fashion, automotive, or whatever it might be. You outsource supply chain to an expert, you get that level of expertise throughout the supply chain, compartmentalise it, and get the space you need to concentrate on the areas of your business that need your unique skills.

 

How does SEKO's approach contribute to enhancing overall efficiency for its clients?

If you're consolidating services, you get multiple benefits: you enhance your buying power; you get a genuine holistic understanding of your supply chain; SEKO gets a holistic understanding of the customer; and all this combined translates into business efficiency. There's the benefit of centralised services, like being able to adapt Key performance indicators (KPIs) across the whole supply chain, whether that's the lead time or performance or reporting functionalities, or standardisations that you can implement across territories —the latter being particularly powerful.

 

How does technology play a pivotal role in SEKO's end-to-end supply chain solutions?

We've got a universal tech stack, a universal operating, providing customers with one interface that covers their entire supply chain. I haven't seen anyone else that can do that. Through the tech stack, we can do customers demand planning, making sure that Purchase Orders (POs) are being placed when they need them to avoid stock outs. We can do the inbounding of shipments, PO management, warehouse management, transport management. For some customers we create Shopify stores or web fronts for our customers. One interface that covers the full supply chain, giving our customers full visibility and throughout.

 

New initiatives

A big part of our 5PL solution is being able to finance inventory to help a client with their cash flow. We are partnered with an investment company that can inject capital on the customer's behalf, allowing them to fund their inventory from point of the PO being raised, or when the goods are been manufactured, and this credit will last through, even up until final consumption by the end user. Only at that point will we bill our client for the inventory, which is a massively powerful tool. It allows clients to focus on what they're good at, injecting capital that they raised into marketing and not having to be succumb to the cash- flow demands of the supply chain.
