GREATER CHINA
QINGDAO Closed for 20 hours due to dense fog. Heavy congestion with 3-4 days waiting due to vessel bunching post-typhoon. QQCTU maintenance dredging starting 01/Aug will block 1 berth for 2-3 weeks.
SHANGHAI WGQ2 waiting time remains 7-8 days and WGQ5 around 5 days due to concentrated arrivals. YGS12 average waiting is 8 days due to high cargo volumes. Potential typhoon impacts expected next week.
NINGBO MSICT is gradually recovering with waiting times of 2-3 days after shifting 5 services. Port faces potential typhoon impact challenges next week.
XIAMEN Port was closed for 65.5 hours due to Typhoon NOUL, resulting in ongoing vessel backlog and schedule delays.
YANTIAN Port closed for 54 hours due to Typhoon NOUL. Waiting time increased to 5 days. Yard density is ~90% with gate-in restrictions applied (ETB-7 days). Stabilization expected from WK32.
SHEKOU Port closed for 50 hours due to Typhoon NOUL. Waiting time increased to 3-4 days following resumption. Slow recovery and stabilization expected from WK32.
NANSHA Port closed for 31 hours due to Typhoon NOUL. Waiting time increased to 1-1.5 days after operations resumed.
HONG KONG Waiting time around 1 day on average due to berth congestion and regional feeder disruptions.
APAC OTHER
SINGAPORE Entire PSA remains busy with general waiting times of 1-2 days across carriers. CMA Group vessel WTB lower at around 0.5 days.
JAKARTA Average waiting time of 1-2 days due to berth congestion. Delivery of 1 new Quay Crane at JICT (01-04/Aug) limits North berth capacity to 1 vessel during installation.
YOKOHAMA Average waiting time around 1 day due to delayed vessel arrivals and bunching; high overflow expected into WK32.
BUSAN Heavy berth congestion in WK31 & WK32 with delays around 1.5-2 days. BNCT laden yard density is extremely high at ~98%.
PORT KELANG Yard density at 80-85% with delays of 1-1.5 days. Maintenance dredging from 03-12/Aug will block 1 high berth, impacting mega-vessel availability.
HO CHI MINH Cat Lai operations remain steady with general waiting time of 1 day. Yard utilization stable above 85%. Vung Tau (GML) heavily congested with 2+ days waiting.
HAIPHONG Overall situation at HICT & HHIT is steady without major congestion. Minimal waiting time.
BANGKOK Berth situation stable in WK31 with vessels berthing on arrival or experiencing minimal waiting times.
MANILA Berth congestion improved to ~2 days delay for off-window vessels. Dynamic situation expected next week as delayed vessels return from South China.
CHITTAGONG Overall yard utilization around 80%. Berthing waiting time is 1-2 days for both geared & gearless vessels.
COLOMBO Waiting time around 2 days on average due to berth congestion.

NHAVA SHEVA Waiting time around 3 days on average due to berth congestion.
CHENNAI Waiting time around 3 days on average due to berth congestion.
