CBS2: 24,000 pounds of supplies makes its way from Chicago to help Maui wildfire victims
A United Airlines 777 flight from O'Hare International Airport was loaded with around 24,000 pounds of supplies including baby formula, canned food, socks, and hygiene kits. The effort is in collaboration with Convoy of Hope, a faith-based humanitarian organization, who worked with a local church in Maui to collect specifically requested supplies. United Airlines, along with nonprofit partner Airlink and SEKO Logistics, facilitated the transport of these essential supplies to the wildfire-affected region.
