SEKO Makes Food Logistics' Top 100 3PL and Cold Storage Providers

Itasca, IL - SEKO Logistics announced it is recognized in Food Logistics, the only publication exclusively dedicated to covering the movement of product through the food supply chain, sixth annual listing of the 100 3PL and Cold Storage Providers for its July/August 2011 issue.

Recognized in this list are third-party logistics and cold storage providers that offer a broad scope of services and capabilities that enable food companies to manage costs, increase flexibility, improve service levels and operational efficiency, and reduce capital expenditures.

Selecting the right logistics partner to manage your supply chain is of great importance to the future of any company’s operations,” explained Katherine Doherty, editor-in-chief of Food Logistics magazine. “In the food industry, outsourcing has become a foundation of competitive advantage for many companies. We provide this list to help our readers find the best 3PLs and cold storage providers for their business.

After receiving nomination forms from end users and solution providers, the editorial staff culled through the submissions to compile this year’s 100 3PL and Cold Storage Providers listing. SEKO Logistics was featured as one of the recipients.

SEKO strives to supply excellent logistics solutions for our food and consumer packaged goods clients,” stated William Wascher, president and CEO of SEKO Logistics. “We greatly value this industry and are honored to be recognized by Food Logistics magazine.
