SEKO Logistics (SEKO), the leader in end-to-end global logistics, today released its third annual Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) report, showcasing the company's 2024-2025 accomplishments and continued progress towards its short-term and long-term ESG goals.
This report captures SEKO's environmental, social and governance progress across its global network, from emissions and environmental initiatives to humanitarian work and governance. Because SEKO moves and manages freight for clients around the world, it helps advance more responsible supply chains far beyond the company itself, for the planet, the people across its network and the communities it serves.
Highlights from the report include:
- SEKO developed its own in-house carbon calculator in 2025, giving the company direct control over its emissions factors and methodology and the flexibility to tailor carbon reporting to each client's needs.
- SEKO facilities are increasingly powering their own operations with renewable energy, led by SEKO Colombia, where solar panels now generate 85% of the facility's energy needs, with teams in Jamaica, Italy and the Philippines advancing similar solar programs.
- SEKO helped broker the largest single Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) contract for United Airlines cargo. The company also purchased SAF for the third consecutive year, with SEKO Greater China recognized in the Air France KLM Cargo SAF Program.
- SEKO joined the Zero Emission Maritime Buyers Alliance (ZEMBA) and continued its Smart Freight Centre membership, expanding access to lower-carbon ocean and freight options for clients.
- SEKO launched a dedicated Aid and Relief team and deepened its partnership with humanitarian organization Airlink, supporting response to the conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza, aid to Sudan and relief following the earthquake in Venezuela.
